Starting Again

Over the years I've had a couple of blogs, which have been lost in the depths of cyberspace. This is not because I wanted to get rid of them. Apple decided to drop their blog support and then Twitter bought out Posterous and just scrapped it. So, let's have another try here on Blogger.

How Time Flies

This drawing has been on the wall so long, I hardly notice it any more. I was surprised, when straightening it the other day, to see the date. I drew it in 1990.
I used a photo from Cosmo magazine for the figure. She had very short hair and I wanted to add some dynamic movement. The wings came after that.
It was this drawing that spurred on my confidence in figurative work.
